Style and Storage go Hand in Hand!

Chic storage is a tough look to pull off. From hidden drawers to multi utility items, we are always looking for outlets to dump our stuff into without looking like the most untidy person on earth. A good option out there, specially for those of you with that dreaded chair of piled on clothes, is a basket. And no. I'm not talking about the plastic laundry basket of past, no the basket has evolved over the years and there are many stylish, multi functional ones to try out!

Wicker baskets add a perfect touch of rustic chic to any home and are great if your looking for a homely way to store things. What's greater is when it comes to wicker baskets, bread, toilet rolls and laundry, all can be stored with the same taste!

For those of you looking for a more modern approach to using baskets, how about baskets with humorous or charming graphics on them?

Think Square

It's important to remember to mix things up every now and then in your interiors to create a unique look. From dining tables to windows, mirrors and cupboards the shape of a square seems to reign. But certain thinks like rustic clocks and dream catchers for instance, seem to hold on to the circular shape. How about being a rebel and turning the squares in your home to circles and vice versa if possible? Here are a few images to help you along the way!

Work That Wine!

This one's for all you wine lovers out there! Ever enjoyed a bottle of wine and felt extremely bad to throw that bottle away? Whether it be a great memory associated with the bottle or just the fact that the bottle is pretty darn gorgeous, you want to display that bottle- empty or full! Well, I say work that wine into your interiors!
Wall Wine Display:

Why store your bottles away in a dusty cabinet? Turn them into art for your walls. You can choose from rustic or industrial display units or can even go DIY with it!

Unusual Wine Racks:

If the wall display is too bold for your taste or you just can't seem to find a bare wall, opt for using a wine rack that can be placed on the floor in a corner or alongside your bar.

Empty Bottle Display:

An empty wine bottle can always be turned into lighting fixture. Cut off the bottom of the bottle, add in a bulb or fill in a cluster of fairy lights and voila! you've got yourself a unique light. You can also use them as planters. I would suggest using clear wine bottles for this. If the wine bottle marks a special occasion, write the date on the bottle using gold/silver wine markers and display it proudly. Or you can gift the decorated bottle to that special someone you shared the memory with!

Cork Display:

Wine corks are rustic, vintage and gorgeous! And if that's the look you're interiors are going for then you might want to consider displaying the corks of wine bottles. Gifting the wine cork with the date of a special memory is also an option here. They can turn into magnets, planters or both! You can also display them in collectors or make fancy artwork for your walls.
