DIY: Dried Flowers

Having grown up in a home with a rose garden, it's no surprise that it is also my favorite flower. Alas, they don't last very low in vases and it's such a shame to throw them away. Dried roses Here's a quick tutorial on how to have your bunch of dried roses. These will last you for a long time to come.

Air drying is the most common method for drying roses. Ideally, rose buds that are ready to open and in lighter colours are best. Gather the flowers, tie a string around the base and hang them upside down in a well ventilated area. Let them hang undisturbed for a couple of weeks and then take them down. Viola, your own dried roses are ready!
